A Message from Our Superintendent

Dear Friends of Show Low Schools,

As the superintendent of Show Low Unified School District, I want to welcome and thank you for partnering with us in your child’s education. At SLUSD, our vision is to prepare, achieve, and lead. What a powerful statement. This vision speaks to the heritage of excellence we hold in the community of Show Low, and provides our students and employees with core values that align with what we do and the impact we can have at school, home, and within the community. We believe that the learning environment is important. If our students are going to be prepared, we must give each one the best experience possible. Our staff is committed to providing an enriching environment in which children can explore opportunities found in a wide variety of programs. We believe all children should be guided through a rigorous academic curriculum, which includes access to the arts, athletics, and career/technical education, as well as a wide variety of clubs and activities that help develop the skills needed to be a leader in their families and communities. At Show Low Unified School District, we honor timeless principles which allow our students to become successful in their lives. Our students learn to set goals, prioritize, and become self-motivated. Our students honor our community and have a deep and abiding appreciation for the heritage laid before them. We value our partnership with the families and community of Show Low in fulfilling our vision of helping our students to prepare, achieve, and lead. Our schools are but a stepping stone in the preparation for a successful life journey.
